Keynote speakers
Mr Felix Chan – Director of Hong Kong Talent Engage will share Hong Kong’s advantages, various talent admission schemes and the comprehensive support services available to incoming talent, aimed at facilitating settlement, integration, and long-term professional development in Hong Kong. Felix possesses extensive experience in promoting Hong Kong and business management, and having been based for extended periods in the Chinese Mainland and overseas during his tenure at Hong Kong Tourism Board and Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
Mr Chris Wright – Executive Manager, Talent Acquisition, The Hong Kong Jockey Club will share HKJC’s people development and transformation approach with a focus in technology, in building a future ready digital platform to better serve its customers. Chris is an experienced recruitment professional who specializes in global talent acquisition and has previously worked in the financial services sector.
Ir Eric Chan – Chief Public Mission Officer, Hong Kong Cyberport has over 30 years of experience in the ICT industry and in charge of the public mission operation at Cyberport, building the ecosystem of nurturing start-ups from inspiring the next generation, through nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit, to empowering global ambition, through comprehensive entrepreneurship programmes with funding and other value-added services.
Mr Wouter Knecht – Head of Commercial Development of Transamerica Life Bermuda (TLB), a CEFA holder, will share his own relocation and integration story in Hong Kong. Wouter has lived in Hong Kong for 6.5 years and has been part of shaping and driving TLB’s global High-Net-Worth (HNW) growth strategy since 2023. Before joining TLB, Wouter has accumulated around 10 years of experience in the insurance industry at TLB’s parent company Aegon, an international financial services group.
Ms Paula Kant – Head of Business and Talent Attraction / Investment Promotion of Invest Hong Kong based in Brussels, as part of the unit attracting of talents and investment promotions. Born in the Netherlands, she will share her unique professional experiences from over a decade representing a Hong Kong organization, building on an international career spanning Spain, Singapore, Taiwan, New Zealand, Libya, and other countries.
The perspectives of the speaker offers valuable, practical insights for professionals and businesses considering expansion into the region.
