Born in Texas, she holds a graduate diploma of the University of Westminster in law in the UK (CPE) and holds a Master of Law (LLM) from the University of Hong Kong Law School. She is also a graduate of Stanford University (Law School).

DLA Piper was selected with Kristi Swartz to lead the exclusive representation of the Government of Dubai to oversee the first global regulation for the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority Project (VARA). One of the first regulations in the World.

In 2024, she was named one of the top 15 Female Layers in Asia by Legal Business.
